Energy Farms has committed to develop seven solar farms across New Zealand’s north and south islands.
So far, we have contracted 770ha of land housing over 600,000 solar panels and producing some 700GW hours of energy per year. The energy produced will feed into the national grid providing enough energy to power over 87,000 homes.

Livestock graze peacefully under the solar panels to help keep the grass down while the panels also provide shade and protection.
