Wellsford

Around 3km from the Wellsford substation, our 76MW farm will produce around 162,000 MWh of energy per year from 150,000 panels. 

 

Marton

Located 4km from the Marton substation, our 84MW farm will produce around 181,000 MWh of energy per year from 166,000 panels.

 

Taranaki

About 6km from the Opunake substation, our 80MW farm will produce around 181,000 MWh of energy per year from 158,000 panels. 

Local Project Benefits

During the construction period, up to 1,000 local construction jobs will be generated. 

Energy Farms will source as many of these jobs from the surrounding regions as possible. We will also maximise local and regional content in plant procurement and construction by sourcing local materials. 

Local opportunities provided during plant construction include: 

  • civil engineering and site preparation

  • post, racking, and module installation

  • high voltage power system works

  • communications and monitoring system works

  • construction and supervision roles

  • administration and construction support roles
